HOW-TO: Change display settings

Can’t see some elements while editing or playing the game? Make sure it’s turned on in the Display Mode settings first!

Open View > Toggle display mode to see the options that can be made visible by selecting or un-selecting filters. Filters can be set these independently for both the what you see in the editor mode (Editor Options) and in gameplay mode (Game Options).

Show / hide elements

The example below works in the same way for other elements such as not just areas, waypoints, paths or sprites, but for all other available elements.

Example: If you want to show all the different trigger areas and waypoints used on our level, you would need to enable the correct filters. In this example, you would need to go to Editor options > Debug and there enable Areas and Waypoints.

This is how it will look like, before and after:

If you want the same filters to be visible while in-game, you need to apply these options also in the Game options > Debug.

…otherwise these elements will not be visible!

Please note that this works in the same way for all other available debug options such as areas, waypoints, paths, sprites and more. If you can’t see something that should be there, please check the Display Mode settings.
