Importing new facial animation

To import a new animation, open an animset. Drag and drop an npc to the viewer window.

Find tab All animations and right-click on the path of the animset (look for them in animations\mimics).

Select Import simple/plain animations.

A new window will open. Find the folder where the .re file was exported, select all the animations you want to import, and press Open.

Your facial animation is now imported and should not require any additional steps.

You can save and close the animset

Fixing broken body animations

After the last step you will notice that the newly imported animation looks broken.

Here’s how to fix it.

Right-click on the animation/animations you just imported and select Recompress (choose preset).

In the new window, select ABBCP_VeryHighQuality, and press Recompress.

All cinematic animation should use ABBCP_VeryHighQuality compression setting.

Now your animation should look normal. You can save and close the animset.
