HOW-TO: Get a Wwise license

Follow these steps to receive a Wwise license.

Open

Wwise is Audiokinetic's software for interactive media and video games. It features an audio authoring tool and a cross-platform sound engine. Wwise is available for free to non-commercial users and under license for commercial video game developers.

How to get a Wwise license:

1. Create an account on the https://www.audiokinetic.com/en/ website.
   
   

   Open

   

2. Go to this page: http://www.audiokinetic.com/school/.

3. Go to the Witcher 3 REDkit Modding section and press the Request Access button.
   
   

4. You will get a notification once your request has been accepted.

5. This course will provide you with a license key to use on your mod.

6. If you continue to need access past the 3 month mark, you simply request access again.

Continue to use this process for any future mods.
